Startrader Increases Lloyd's of London Client Fund Insurance to USD 30 Million
Forex broker Startrader is raising its client fund insurance to USD 30 million in aggregate, effective October 1, 2026. The policy is underwritten by Lloyd's of London syndicates.

Forex broker Startrader Financial Markets Limited (Mauritius) has significantly increased its client fund insurance coverage. The firm's aggregate cover limit, previously USD 1 million, will rise to USD 30 million starting October 1, 2026. This thirtyfold increase is underwritten by Arch and other syndicates within Lloyd's of London.
The enhanced policy will cover clients' available balances and collateral supporting open positions in the event of firm insolvency. The insurance responds above a per-client retention where insolvency coincides with covered misconduct. This protection remains free to eligible clients of this specific entity.
"Insurance is not something clients think about on a good day. It matters on the worst one, and a ceiling that only looks adequate until it is tested is not much of a ceiling," stated CEO Peter Karsten. The increased limit applies automatically from October 1, and no client action is required.
Startrader operates as a multi-asset broker regulated in five jurisdictions, including the CMA and ASIC. The company emphasizes the segregation of client funds from company assets as a complementary protection measure. The new insurance policy is subject to its full terms and conditions.
