The Enough Phone project has secured over half of its $250,000 funding goal on Kickstarter within 24 hours of launch. The initiative focuses on delivering a compact device, countering the industry trend of increasing smartphone display sizes.
The proposed specifications include a 5.3-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, and 8GB of RAM. A notable hardware choice is the inclusion of a user-replaceable 3,500mAh battery, a feature that has largely disappeared from modern flagship devices.
Regarding software, the project allows users to choose between stock Android or the minimalist OdysseyOS. By focusing on a smaller footprint, the team behind the project aims to cater to a specific segment of users who prioritize one-handed usability and reduced screen clutter.
