Steam Introduces 'Achievement Sets' Feature
Valve's Steam platform has launched a new feature called 'achievement sets,' allowing developers to group achievements for base games and DLCs separately.

Valve has introduced a significant new feature for its Steam gaming platform, known as 'achievement sets.' This functionality enables developers to organize achievements into distinct categories, separating those for the base game from those tied to downloadable content (DLC).
The new system aims to improve how players track their progress and accomplishments. When users view their achievements within Steam, they will now be presented in these developer-defined sets, making it easier to distinguish between base game challenges and DLC-specific goals.
Each achievement set comes with its own progress bar, providing a visual indicator of completion. Furthermore, successfully finishing an entire set rewards the player with a special 'set complete' trophy, which is displayed on their user profile.
This update is expected to enhance player engagement by offering a more structured approach to achievement hunting. Developers can now leverage these sets to guide players through different content expansions or gameplay challenges within their titles.
