SteelSeries Launches Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 in Limited Cyber and Steel Editions
SteelSeries has introduced two new limited editions for its Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 keyboard: the Cyber and Steel versions. These models feature distinct colorways and varying magnetic switch actuation forces.
SteelSeries announced on September 22nd the release of two limited edition configurations for its Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 magnetic switch keyboard: the Cyber and Steel. Both versions are priced at $239.99.
The Cyber and Steel editions feature bold new top plate color schemes and come with semi-transparent keycaps designed to enhance RGB lighting effects. These limited models offer alternatives to the original Apex Pro TKL Gen 3's 45gF actuation force.
The Cyber limited edition is equipped with a faster 35gF actuation force magnetic switch, while the Steel limited edition utilizes a 50gF actuation force "control-type" magnetic switch. This allows users to select a switch tailored to their preferred typing or gaming style.
The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 keyboard utilizes an 80% (TKL) layout and supports features such as rapid trigger, rapid re-trigger, and a protect mode. It includes per-key RGB backlighting and adjustable rubber feet with three height settings.
