SteelSeries Releases Arctis GameBuds Earbuds in New Colors

SteelSeries has introduced new color options for its Arctis GameBuds wireless gaming earbuds, releasing them in "Yuzu Yellow" and "Matcha Green." The earbuds are now available for purchase, with a final price of 1399 yuan after discounts. Notably, these earbuds were co-developed with T1, a six-time League of Legends championship team, and are the same model used by Faker during his championship runs.

The Arctis GameBuds feature dual connectivity, supporting both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. This allows for simultaneous connection to two devices, such as a gaming console via 2.4 GHz and a phone via Bluetooth. The earbuds are compatible with a wide range of platforms including PlayStation, PC, handheld consoles, Steam Deck, Switch, and VR devices through a compact USB-C receiver. The 2.4 GHz connection offers a low latency of under 31ms, ensuring quick response times for gamers.

Equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) using a four-microphone hybrid system and AI algorithms, the earbuds effectively reduce ambient noise. A transparency mode can also be activated to allow users to hear their surroundings without removing the earbuds. Audio performance is enhanced by neodymium high-fidelity drivers and Sonar 360° spatial audio software, aiming to improve positional audio cues and immersion for players.

The earbuds offer a battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing approximately three additional charges for a total of around 40 hours of playtime. The charging case supports Qi wireless charging and fast charging, delivering 3 hours of use from a 15-minute charge. Ergonomic design, based on scans of over 62,000 ears, ensures comfort for extended wear. Additionally, the earbuds feature an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
