SteelSeries Releases Arctis GameBuds in Two New Colors

SteelSeries has introduced two new colorways for its Arctis GameBuds true wireless gaming earbuds: citrus yellow and matcha green. These earbuds, co-developed with six-time League of Legends champions T1, are now available for pre-order in China with sales beginning September 7. The standard price is 1499 yuan, but the introductory offer brings the price down to 1299 yuan.

The Arctis GameBuds are designed for gamers, featuring a dual-mode connectivity that combines a 2.4GHz wireless connection for gaming devices with Bluetooth 5.3 for mobile calls. This allows users to switch seamlessly between gaming and communication, with a reported latency of under 31ms for the 2.4GHz connection.

Key features include active noise cancellation (ANC) using a four-microphone hybrid system and an AI algorithm to reduce ambient noise. The earbuds also support a transparency mode for awareness of surroundings. Coupled with Sonar 360° spatial audio software and over 300 game-specific audio presets, SteelSeries aims to deliver an immersive and competitive gaming experience.

Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing an additional three charges for a total of approximately 40 hours of playtime. The case also supports Qi wireless charging and fast charging, offering 3 hours of use from a 15-minute charge.

These new color options expand the availability of the Arctis GameBuds, which are marketed as "Faker's champion-equivalent" gaming earbuds. The earbuds are compatible with a wide range of platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam Deck, via a compact USB-C dongle.
