Automaker Stellantis announced leadership changes for its Ram and Jeep brands on Tuesday, appointing new chief executive officers for each. Matt VanDyke will immediately assume the role of CEO for the Ram brand.

Branden Coté is set to become the new CEO of the Jeep brand, effective August 3. Both VanDyke and Coté will report to Tim Kuniskis. Kuniskis retains his responsibilities as head of Stellantis North America Marketing and Retail Strategy and the U.S. brands.

The appointments aim to alleviate Kuniskis' workload, as he previously also served as the CEO of the Ram brand. The current CEO of Jeep, Bob Broderdorf, will be taking a personal medical leave of absence.

Stellantis highlighted that VanDyke and Coté are recognized industry leaders. The company emphasized its customer-centric approach, aiming to elevate the iconic American brands and deliver products that consumers trust and desire. These changes are part of Stellantis' ongoing strategy to strengthen its portfolio.
