Stellantis Opens US Orders for $13,995 Fiat Topolino Electric Car
Stellantis has opened U.S. orders for the 2026 Fiat Topolino electric car. The small EV is priced starting at $13,995 and features a design reminiscent of micro-vehicles common in Italy and Japan.

Automaker Stellantis has begun accepting U.S. orders for its 2026 Fiat Topolino electric vehicle. The compact EV carries a starting price of $13,995, positioning it as one of the most affordable electric options in the market.
The Fiat Topolino features a distinctive design that echoes the micro-vehicles frequently seen on the streets of Italy and Japan. It will be available in two configurations: a standard model with a hard top and doors, and the Fiat Topolino Dolcevita, which includes a roll-back soft top and uses ropes in place of traditional doors. Both versions are fully electric.
Stellantis' decision to bring the microcar to the U.S. was previously announced in December. This move followed comments from then-President Donald Trump praising the small cars often referred to as "kei cars" in Japan.
The introduction of the Topolino comes amid significantly increased vehicle prices. Since the pandemic, the average price for a new car in the U.S. has surpassed $49,000, with used cars averaging over $29,000. The Topolino's low price point could appeal to consumers seeking economical transportation solutions.
