Stellantis Unveils New HEMI V8 Crate Engine Series

Stellantis performance division, Direct Connection, introduced a new series of HEMI V8 crate engine packages at the 2026 SEMA Show. The product line, designed for enthusiasts and restoration specialists, features six distinct packages with power outputs ranging from 385 to 1,025 horsepower.

Each package serves as a turnkey solution, bundling the engine with a calibrated powertrain control module (PCM), wiring harnesses, and necessary hardware. This approach aims to streamline the build process by ensuring that all provided components are engineered to function together, accommodating both manual and automatic transmission setups.

To support the product launch, Stellantis is providing a three-year/100,000-mile warranty on all new crate engine packages. Tim Kuniskis, head of American Brands and the SRT Performance division at Stellantis North America, noted that the initiative focuses on providing a single-part, single-solution model to minimize installation guesswork for builders.

The new product line is scheduled for commercial availability in the first quarter of 2027. Pricing details remain pending, and company officials noted that final specifications may vary by package.
