Swedish software company Configura has announced the appointment of Steven Jenkins as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Jenkins, who has a long-standing connection to the company from its early days as a developer, returns to Configura after holding executive leadership roles elsewhere. He succeeds Stefan Persson, under whose leadership the company experienced growth and platform development across its global ecosystem.
"Configura is where my career began, and returning feels both meaningful and energizing," Jenkins stated. He highlighted the unique community of users, manufacturers, and partners surrounding Configura as a key element.
The company also acknowledged Stefan Persson's contributions, citing his "thoughtful leadership" and commitment to collaboration and innovation. During his tenure, Persson helped strengthen Configura's position as a trusted platform partner across various industries.
Jenkins indicated that he will continue the company's strategic direction, focusing on advancing its platform and supporting the collaborative community that drives its success. Configura provides space-planning software for sectors including commercial interiors, kitchens, and material handling.
