StockGro Confidentially Files IPO Papers

Investment advisory platform StockGro has confidentially filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with India's Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) earlier this week. The filing was made by its parent company, AssetGro Fintech Ltd, on September 26.

According to reports, StockGro aims to raise between ₹2,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore (approximately $240 million to $300 million) via the IPO. This offering may include a combination of fresh issuance of shares and an offer for sale by existing shareholders. The final size and structure of the issue could be subject to change.

StockGro operates as a fintech platform focused on stock market research, investing, and trading. Its app integrates market analysis with social features, allowing users to track stocks, study portfolios, and engage with market experts. The company has recently introduced AI-powered tools to assist users with investment analysis.

The startup has previously raised significant funding rounds from investors including BITKRAFT Ventures and Mukul Agrawal. StockGro claims to have served over 45 million users and is part of a growing trend of Indian startups utilizing the confidential filing route for their IPOs.
