Stuart Bradie Appointed KBR President and Chief Executive Officer
KBR, Inc. announced that Stuart Bradie has assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. Bradie brings over 25 years of industry experience to the position.
Houston, Texas – June 10, 2014 – KBR, Inc. has appointed Stuart Bradie as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. He assumes the role effective immediately, stating his commitment to advancing the company through close collaboration with its customers.
Bradie joins KBR from WorleyParsons, where he served as Group Managing Director – Operations and Delivery. In that capacity, he was responsible for the group's global operations, project delivery, and assurance functions. His prior experience includes managing operations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Business School, Bradie possesses more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Company officials indicated his background is expected to guide KBR's strategic direction.
The company initially announced Bradie's upcoming appointment on April 9, 2014. This leadership transition follows a period of strategic evaluation for KBR.
