Dassault Aviation has opened registration for the 21st edition of the Student Aerospace Challenge. Launched in 2006 by the European Astronaut Club (ACE), the competition invites university students from European Space Agency (ESA) member countries.
Participants are encouraged to contribute to the study of hypersonic, long-range suborbital vehicles or manned spacecraft capable of reaching low Earth orbit. The challenge covers various aspects including design, reusable propulsion, economics, medicine, and environmental considerations.
Industrial and institutional partners supporting the challenge include ArianeGroup, Dassault Aviation, ESA, the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES), and the Air and Space Museum. Students must form teams of 2 to 5 members and register by October 31, 2026.
The competition provides students with an opportunity to integrate their academic studies with research into cutting-edge aerospace concepts.
