Study evaluates economic and social impact of JCDecaux
JCDecaux supported 183,460 jobs globally in 2025, according to an independent study conducted by consultancy Utopies and audited by EY.

JCDecaux commissioned a third-party assessment of its socioeconomic footprint for the 2025 fiscal year. The findings indicate that the firm’s activities generated €7.3 billion in direct, indirect, and induced economic value worldwide. The methodology, audited by EY, used the LOCAL FOOTPRINT tool to track financial flows across 380 sectors.
The data shows a 53% increase in supported jobs over the last three years, with the company currently sustaining 183,460 positions globally. For every direct employee, an additional 14.4 jobs are estimated to be supported in the broader economy. In France specifically, the company sustained 16,150 jobs, reflecting a 10% growth compared to 2022 figures.
Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and Co-CEO, stated that the results affirm the company's sustainable model, which leverages advertising revenue to fund public infrastructure like transit shelters and bike-sharing schemes.
Beyond employment, the report highlights the company’s localized purchasing habits, noting that 84% of procurement in France is sourced from domestic entities, with 50% directed toward small and medium-sized enterprises.
