Study: Only One-Third of Nordic Organizations Control Critical Data
A new study by Vivicta reveals that only 29 percent of Nordic organizations feel they have sufficient control over their critical data. A majority expect increased investments in digital sovereignty.
Stockholm – Only 29 percent of large organizations in the Nordics feel they have sufficient control over their critical data, according to a new report by technology company Vivicta. The study surveyed 320 decision-makers across Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
The figure, just under one-third, highlights significant concerns regarding digital sovereignty, defined as an organization's ability to retain control over its critical data.
The report also found that while 70 percent of respondents expect investments in digital sovereignty to increase over the next 12 months, only 46 percent have a formal sovereignty strategy in place.
These findings suggest that many organizations recognize the growing importance of data control but have not yet fully prepared or strategized to ensure it.
