Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling staff are serving as phone bank operators for the 29th annual K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon supporting Dayton Children's Hospital.
Employees from Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling are volunteering to manage the phone banks for the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon on October 23. The event marks the 29th year of the broadcast, which serves as a fundraiser for Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Local businesses frequently provide logistical support to such media-driven charity events to facilitate donor interaction. By providing personnel for phone banks, the company assists in the processing of incoming contributions from listeners during the day-long broadcast.
The radiothon remains a primary community engagement initiative for the hospital, aiming to fund medical equipment and specialized pediatric services. The event is scheduled to conclude late Friday.
