Sun Life Appoints Darko Mihelic as Head of Investor Relations
Sun Life Financial has appointed Darko Mihelic as Senior Vice-President, Head of Investor Relations. He will assume his new role on October 22, 2026.
Toronto – Sun Life Financial Inc. announced the appointment of Darko Mihelic as its Senior Vice-President, Head of Investor Relations. Mihelic is set to join the company on October 22, 2026, and will report to Tim Deacon, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mihelic transitions to Sun Life from RBC Capital Markets, where he held the position of Managing Director, Equity Research. His coverage focused on Canada's banking and insurance sectors, bringing extensive industry expertise and established relationships within the investment community.
In his new capacity, Mihelic will oversee Sun Life's engagement strategy and relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key external stakeholders. He is expected to leverage his deep understanding of investor priorities to enhance the company's communication efforts.
He succeeds Natalie Brady, who was appointed to the role of Senior Vice-President, Head of Capital Management and Corporate Development earlier this year.
