In January 2027, the Sundance Film Festival will make its debut in Boulder, Colorado, after more than four decades in Park City. The festival's first edition in its new Colorado home, scheduled from January 21-31, 2027, will place Boulder firmly in the international spotlight.
Boulder combines a creative spirit with immediate access to nature, a hallmark of Northern Colorado. The city's pedestrian-only Pearl Street, lined with boutiques and eateries, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027. Boulder's culinary scene has also received recognition from the MICHELIN Guide. Nearby Chautauqua Park provides access to hiking trails and will serve as one of the festival's official venues at the historic Chautauqua Auditorium.
