Sunfox Technologies Raises $7 Million for Cardiac Diagnostics Platform
Indian medtech startup Sunfox Technologies has secured $7 million in Series A funding to expand its Spandan cardiac diagnostics platform. The funds will also support R&D and international market entry.

Dehradun-based healthtech firm Sunfox Technologies has raised $7 million (approximately ₹67 crore) in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ashish Kacholia, Lashit Sanghvi, Alchemy Capital, and 3one4 Capital.
The company intends to use the capital to scale its portable cardiac diagnostics platform, Spandan, across India. The funding will also facilitate team expansion and investments in research and development, clinical validation, engineering, and new cardiac technologies.
Sunfox is also planning to build regulatory, distribution, and commercial capabilities in the US, Europe, and Africa. The startup holds regulatory approvals in India, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa, and is seeking clearance in the US and European Union. This round follows a ₹15 crore (approx. $1.8 million) funding in 2024 led by Venture Catalysts.
Founded in 2016, Sunfox develops portable, AI-enabled cardiac diagnostic solutions. Its Spandan devices enable remote ECG recording and interpretation via smartphone, aiming to improve cardiac care accessibility, particularly in remote areas. The platform reportedly reaches over 20,000 villages in India.
