Sungrow Hosts Energy Storage Event in Monza, Italy

Sungrow, a global provider of PV inverters and energy storage systems, hosted its first Italian Power Connect Day at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, bringing together industry partners, installers, and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy experts. The event concluded Sungrow's 16-stop European roadshow, which gathered over 600 participants across key markets.

The gathering focused on the increasing role of battery energy storage systems (BESS) for Italian businesses, aiming to enhance energy flexibility, optimize self-consumption, and adapt to a more decentralized energy market. Italy's energy transition is accelerating, with 2.61 GW of new solar capacity installed in the first half of 2026, and electrochemical energy storage capacity approaching 12 GWh.

During the event, Sungrow showcased its energy storage portfolio. The PowerTitan series is designed for utility-scale applications, offering grid support and efficient energy management. For the C&I segment, the PowerStack series was presented, including its application in Dragone Energy's renewable energy community projects, supporting local energy sharing and management.

The PowerKeeper series was also highlighted through a success story with ESPE, detailing a 4.15 MWp PV and 4.60 MWh BESS project along the A4 motorway. Sungrow aims to help C&I customers reduce costs, adapt to decentralized systems, and strengthen operational resilience with its tailored energy storage solutions.
