Sunrate and Netstorming partner to integrate B2B travel payments
Sunrate and software provider Netstorming announced a partnership at World Travel Market London to integrate virtual cards into global travel payment workflows.
Sunrate, a provider of treasury and payment management solutions, has partnered with travel technology firm Netstorming. Announced at the 2026 World Travel Market in London, the collaboration enables Netstorming’s network of travel agencies and operators to utilize Sunrate’s virtual card infrastructure for supplier payments.
The integration aims to streamline cross-border transactions by supporting payments in over 16 currencies. Sunrate’s system includes configurable spending controls and real-time transaction reporting, which the companies expect will simplify the financial reconciliation process for travel businesses.
Paul Meng, co-founder and CEO of Sunrate, stated that the move aligns with the company’s efforts to embed financial technology directly into existing travel software ecosystems. Nicola Rizzardini, CEO of Netstorming, added that the collaboration is intended to provide clients with increased flexibility regarding payment management.
This partnership marks a further expansion of Sunrate’s reach within the global travel technology sector, where it competes to offer payment processing solutions to travel operators managing complex, multi-currency accounts.
