Sunshare Redefines Home Energy Storage Reliability with Full Lifecycle Management
Sunshare has launched its new home energy storage system, "Glory," in the Netherlands, featuring full lifecycle management for enhanced safety and longevity. The system addresses battery cell, charging, and overall operational integrity.

Sunshare has introduced its latest home energy storage system, "Glory," at the Vakbeurs Energie 2026 trade fair in the Netherlands, held in 's-Hertogenbosch from October 6-8. The launch aims to redefine the reliability and safety of residential battery storage.
Moving beyond single-layer protection, Sunshare has developed a comprehensive full lifecycle management system. This system encompasses individual cell management, the charging process, and the overall operational integrity of the energy storage unit. The goal is to provide homeowners with peace of mind by ensuring stable, safe, and efficient long-term performance.
Key technological advancements include "Dual-Level Active Balancing Technology." This system continuously regulates energy distribution between individual cells within a single battery pack. When multiple battery packs are stacked, coordinated system-level balancing ensures consistent operating conditions and mitigates long-term performance degradation caused by cell discrepancies.
During charging, the system utilizes a low-voltage charging architecture designed to optimize the charging curve. This approach reduces thermal and chemical stress during charge and discharge cycles, slowing the aging of electrolyte and electrode materials. Unlike fast-charging methods, this design prioritizes long-term battery lifespan while ensuring safety. Additionally, the Energy Management System (EMS) works in tandem with the Battery Management System (BMS) to continuously monitor critical parameters like temperature and charge status, detecting and responding to abnormal trends. Cloud-based analysis enables early detection of potential changes in battery condition.
