Server manufacturer Super Micro Computer has announced that it secured over $60 billion in new orders during the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This influx of orders is expected to be delivered over several upcoming quarters, pushing the company's total backlog to a record level.

Supermicro projects its revenue for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2026 to be near the lower end of its previously issued guidance of $11 billion to $12.5 billion. However, the company anticipates both its GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins to reach between 15% and 17%.

This projected gross margin range is considerably higher than the 8.2% to 8.4% previously forecasted. Supermicro attributes this improvement primarily to a favorable customer and product mix.

The substantial increase in orders and improved profitability signals a strong demand for server solutions, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence and data centers, a key growth area for technology providers.
