SuperX Adds Model as a Service to Singapore AI Centre

SuperX AI Technology Limited has introduced AIIC 2.0, an upgrade to its AI Innovation Centre (AIIC) located in Singapore. The enhanced centre now offers "Model as a Service" (MaaS), enabling clients to access pre-deployed AI models through an API without the need for self-installation and operational management.

The AIIC was originally established in April 2026 as a joint venture with STTGDC to help enterprises transition from AI experimentation to production without building their own infrastructure. The addition of MaaS by AIIC 2.0 removes the subsequent step of model deployment and operation, allowing customers to concentrate on their specific workloads rather than the underlying technology.

AIIC 2.0 supports locally deployed models as a service, available to organizations in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. This facilitates the testing and validation of AI workloads, assisting in the progression from pilot deployments to broader adoption. Currently, the service supports the open-weight GLM-5.3 model.

Access to models is provided via API, with customer data and inference remaining within Singapore. The local deployment aims to reduce network latency for regional users and offers access to local technical support. Usage, quotas, and costs can be monitored and managed.
