Surveillance Camera Features Powerful Intel Core Ultra Processor
British manufacturer 2Crsi Edge has launched the Vision Guard VG-15MV-66 surveillance camera, equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor. The device functions as an edge computing platform for demanding AI tasks.
British technology firm 2Crsi Edge has introduced the Vision Guard VG-15MV-66 surveillance camera, notable for its integration of an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor. This processor, featuring 14 cores and integrated Intel Arc graphics, enables the camera to serve as a comprehensive edge computing platform.
The device is designed for outdoor and harsh environment deployments. Its IP66-rated enclosure consolidates computing, networking, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities into a single unit. This integration eliminates the need for separate server cabinets, switches, and power distribution equipment, facilitating straightforward installation on elements like streetlights or utility poles.
The VG-15MV-66 is capable of processing demanding edge computing and AI tasks, such as video analytics, locally. The system can power and network up to three separate IP cameras through two external, IP66-protected PoE RJ45 ports, negating the requirement for an external PoE switch at the installation site.
Featuring passive cooling and a rugged design, the unit supports a wide operating temperature range and is built for reliable, low-maintenance operation in challenging conditions. By integrating computational and networking functions directly into the surveillance solution, 2Crsi Edge aims to simplify and enhance the deployment of edge computing platforms.
