Svenska Aerogel Expands Global Reach Through New Distribution Agreements

Svenska Aerogel Holding AB has significantly expanded its product distribution internationally throughout 2017. The company has secured several strategic partnerships covering the Nordic countries, the Baltic states, France, the African market, South Korea, and China.

Early in the year, Svenska Aerogel signed an agreement with IMCD Norden for the sale of Quartzene products across the Nordics and Baltics. This was followed by an agreement with a French distributor and an expansion into the African market. New distribution channels were also established in South Korea.

The company has also focused on new applications, including the development of fire protection coatings and materials for the automotive industry. Furthermore, Svenska Aerogel has reported increased demand for its Quartzene products and entered into a cooperation agreement with the Chinese company Chempons.

Svenska Aerogel was listed on Nasdaq First North at the end of 2016. The company has undertaken several financing rounds and published interim reports indicating growth in revenues from the sale of test materials.
