Svenska Aerogel launches Naerogel® brand for aerogel material

Svenska Aerogel has introduced Naerogel® as its new brand for its high-performance aerogel material. The company stated that this launch marks the next phase of its development, moving from research and industrialization towards a growing global commercial platform. The Naerogel® brand replaces the previously used product name, Quartzene®.

In recent years, Svenska Aerogel has concentrated on the industrialization and commercialization of its aerogel material for the international market. Naerogel® is built upon more than two decades of research and development in aerogel technology, drawing on Nordic innovation, quality, and customer-focused development. Through structured innovation efforts and close customer collaboration, the material's performance has been continually enhanced.

The material utilizes the same technological platform and high-performance porous aerogel structure as the earlier Quartzene® material. Naerogel® is designed to offer customers an improved material that meets increasing demands for energy efficiency and thermal insulation.

Naerogel® provides up to 15% improved thermal insulation performance. The material is manufactured using silica, water, and only renewable energy. It serves as a flexible and scalable platform for future innovation and product development, enabling customized solutions for specific market and application needs.
