Svenska Aerogel launches new slurry product and expands distribution

Swedish materials innovator Svenska Aerogel Holding AB (publ) has launched Quartzene® Z Slurry, a new aqueous suspension of its aerogel material designed for easier incorporation into various applications. The product aims to simplify the integration of aerogel into industries such as construction materials and industrial coatings, potentially reducing manufacturing costs and facilitating wider customer adoption.
The company is also enhancing its European market reach with the appointment of Comdex as a new distributor for the paint markets in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. This expansion of the distribution network supports Svenska Aerogel's strategy for global growth and increased market penetration.
Svenska Aerogel has reported significant sales growth, with a 123% increase in product sales during 2023 compared to the previous year. The company has received multiple substantial orders, including a 14-ton container order for an Asian business partner and a 3-ton order for cool roof paint. Continuous pilot orders are being secured from diverse sectors, including the electric vehicle battery industry and specialized insulation technologies.
