Svenska Aerogel launches Quartzene® Z-Slurry for easier integration in manufacturing

Svenska Aerogel has introduced Quartzene® Z-Slurry, an aqueous suspension of aerogel aimed at simplifying its integration into various manufacturing processes. The product is specifically developed for waterborne applications, including the production of paints, coatings, technical textiles, and papers.

The suspension is characterized by its low viscosity and dust-free formulation, allowing for pumpable and pourable handling. This ease of processing is designed to streamline factory workflows and reduce operational complexity, contributing to a cleaner and safer working environment by eliminating dust generation.

Quartzene® Z-Slurry offers notable benefits to the final products by enhancing their performance. Its inclusion improves thermal insulation due to the aerogel's low thermal conductivity, promoting energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, the product contributes to improved fire safety and reduces the overall weight of finished goods.
