Svenska Aerogel plans SEK 18.4 million rights issue and advances Q1 report date
Svenska Aerogel Holding AB has resolved on a rights issue of approximately SEK 18.4 million comprising shares and warrants, aimed at financing continued development and expansion. The company also announced an earlier publication date for its Q1 report.

Svenska Aerogel Holding AB announced a rights issue aiming to raise approximately SEK 18.4 million before issue costs. The capital will primarily finance the company's continued development and expansion. This move follows a period where previous warrants, series TO7, did not generate the expected proceeds, necessitating new funding.
The rights issue consists of units, each including two shares and one warrant of series TO9. Upon full subscription, the company will receive SEK 18.4 million. Should all warrants be exercised, an additional SEK 9.2 million could be raised, bringing the total potential proceeds to approximately SEK 27.6 million. The subscription price is SEK 1.86 per unit, corresponding to SEK 0.93 per share. The subscription period is scheduled from April 29 to May 13, 2026.
In conjunction with the rights issue, Svenska Aerogel also decided to advance the publication date of its first-quarter 2026 interim report. CEO Tor Einar Norbakk stated that the company has 15 customers in their commercial phase and over 170 ongoing projects, indicating market acceptance and a growing revenue base.
The company's aerogel material, Quartzene, is utilized across construction, process industry, transport, and advanced materials sectors. In 2025, several customers moved towards commercialization, including Outlast® Technologies and Matrix Brands. Sales over the last 12 months increased by 82 percent, and the company has implemented cost reductions, leading to improved net cash outflow.
