Svenska Aerogel Reports Sales Growth in Second Quarter

Svenska Aerogel Holding AB (publ) reported its second-quarter 2025 financial results, showing a significant increase in sales. Net sales for the April–June period reached 1.3 million kronor, up from 0.5 million kronor in the same period last year. For the first half of 2025, net sales amounted to 2.6 million kronor, already exceeding the total revenue for the full year 2024.

The company has bolstered its financial foundation through a directed issue of units and an issue of free warrants to shareholders. These measures aim to provide a stable base for continued growth. Key events during the quarter included a container order valued at approximately 600,000 kronor from new customers in the construction and real estate sectors. Additionally, a letter of intent was signed for an order of 2.6 tons from a customer in the Advanced segment.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the second quarter were -6.5 million kronor (-4.2 million kronor). The operating result (EBIT) was -8.3 million kronor (-6.1 million kronor). Cost of goods sold was 4.4 million kronor, while sales, administration, and R&D costs saw a reduction compared to the previous year.

The company's chief financial officer departed during the reporting period, but a successor has been appointed. An extraordinary general meeting has also been convened to formalize the share issues. Svenska Aerogel plans to leverage its strengthened financial standing and new agreements to pursue further expansion.
