SWAIA's 21st Annual Winter Indian Market Returns Thanksgiving Weekend
The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) will host its 21st annual Winter Indian Market in Santa Fe on November 28-29, 2026. The event will feature 160 Native American artists.

The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) is holding its 21st annual Winter Indian Market on Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, 2026, at the Santa Fe Convention Center. The Thanksgiving weekend event will showcase 160 SWAIA-juried artists.
Market hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 for one day or $25 for the weekend and can be purchased at SWAIA.org.
Described as smaller and more intimate than its summer counterpart, the Winter Indian Market offers attendees a chance to engage directly with artists. Visitors can learn about the techniques, traditions, and inspirations behind various art forms, including jewelry, pottery, and paintings.
"Winter Market is built for connection. In a more intimate setting, visitors can spend real time with an artist: hearing the story behind a piece, learning the process and traditions that shaped it, and getting to know the person making contemporary Native art today," said Jamie R. Schulze, Executive Director of SWAIA.
