Swedbank announced three changes to its Group Executive Committee, effective immediately. Henrik Liljeblad has been appointed as the new Head of Group Business Support.
Swedbank has announced three changes to its Group Executive Committee, effective immediately. The appointments aim to strengthen the bank's operational support and strategic oversight.
Henrik Liljeblad has been appointed Head of Group Business Support. He previously served in an acting capacity since May 2026 and will now continue in the role permanently as a member of Swedbank's Group Executive Committee.
"Henrik’s competence and broad experience of the bank provide a solid foundation for continued development of the business," said Jens Henriksson, President and CEO of Swedbank.
Liljeblad's responsibilities will include further developing the bank's support functions and assisting its business areas. The bank has stated that these changes are part of its ongoing strategic realignment.
