Swedish Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlsson visited Jula Logistics' facility in Falköping, focusing on sustainable logistics and rail transport.

Swedish Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlsson visited Jula Logistics' facility in Falköping on June 3. The visit centered on the electrification journey, the West Main Line (Västra stambanan), and future sustainable logistics solutions.
Jula Logistics operates as Sweden's largest inland port (dryport) for container handling. Lennart Karlsson, CEO of Jula Logistics, emphasized that the development and investments in the West Main Line are crucial for strengthening and continuing to develop efficient and sustainable transport flows in western Sweden and the country as a whole. "The Port of Gothenburg plays a central role in the Swedish logistics system, and our dryport in Falköping is an important link in the transport chain," Karlsson stated.
The visit also highlighted the electrification of the transport sector and the logistics industry's contribution to more sustainable development. Jula Logistics presented its role in developing efficient and climate-smart transport solutions for both internal and external flows. Jula Logistics, the logistics company within the Jula Holding Group, is developing one of Sweden's most modern logistics hubs in Falköping.
The facility combines rail, road, and warehousing solutions to create efficient and sustainable flows, with intermodal transport forming a central part of its offering.
