SWI Group Raises 800 Million Euros for AI Infrastructure Expansion

Singapore and Amsterdam, October 12, 2026 – SWI Group announced today it has secured 800 million euros in a capital increase from institutional investors. The company stated the funds are intended to accelerate the development of its artificial intelligence infrastructure and transatlantic computing platform.

The capital raised, bringing the total funds secured since March 2026 to over 1 billion euros, significantly strengthens SWI Group's balance sheet. The financing is designated to support the expansion of data center and AI capabilities, including electrical infrastructure, across Europe and the United States.

SWI Group, listed on Euronext Amsterdam, describes the transaction as a major step in its transformation. The capital injection provides the company with additional financial flexibility to execute its growth strategy, including new investments in AI and enhancing its existing stakes.

According to CEO Max-Hervé George, the operation aligns with the evolving IT and data center markets and supports the company's clear strategy and strong positioning in Europe and the US. The transaction also broadens its institutional shareholder base and enhances market liquidity.
