SWI Group raises €800 million for AI infrastructure expansion
SWI Group announced a €800 million capital increase from institutional investors. The funds will accelerate the expansion of its transatlantic AI infrastructure and compute platform.

Euronext Amsterdam-listed SWI Group announced on October 12, 2026, that it has secured €800 million in a capital increase from institutional investors. This funding, bringing total capital raised since March 2026 to over €1 billion, is earmarked to accelerate the consolidation and expansion of the company's transatlantic digital infrastructure and AI compute platform across Europe and the United States.
The proceeds will support the development and scaling of SWI Group's data center and AI compute capacity. This includes investments in power infrastructure, compute deployments, and the execution of its development pipeline on both continents. The capital increase significantly strengthens the company's balance sheet, providing additional financial capacity for its growth strategy, including further investment in AI and existing holdings.
The transaction also broadens SWI Group's institutional shareholder base, enhances market liquidity, and increases the company's free float to approximately 20% of its share capital. CEO Max-Hervé George stated that the move is intended to keep pace with the compute and data center markets, expressing pleasure in welcoming new investors who share the group's long-term ambitions.
SWI Group operates as a global digital investment platform with a focus on long-term holdings in digital infrastructure, aiming to drive growth and value across markets.
