SWI Group raises €800 million for AI infrastructure expansion
SWI Group has secured €800 million in capital from institutional investors. The funds are intended to accelerate the expansion of the company's artificial intelligence infrastructure and transatlantic computing platform.

SWI Group, listed on Euronext Amsterdam, announced on October 12, 2026, that it has raised €800 million in a capital increase involving institutional investors. The transaction values the company at €6.1 billion.
This funding round, which brings the total capital raised by the company since March 2026 to over €1 billion, is designed to accelerate the expansion of SWI Group's transatlantic digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence computing platform in Europe and the United States.
The capital will be used to develop and expand the group's data center and AI computing capacity. Investments will focus on energy infrastructure, the deployment of computing resources, and the execution of projects across the Atlantic.
The capital increase significantly strengthens SWI Group's balance sheet and provides additional financial capacity for its large-scale growth strategy. This includes new investments in AI and increased stakes in existing projects. The move also broadens the company's institutional shareholder base, enhances market liquidity, and increases the free float to approximately 20%.
"This operation aims to keep pace with the data center and computing markets. We have a clear strategy, a substantial project pipeline, and a strong position in Europe and the US. We are delighted to welcome new investors who share our long-term ambition for the group," stated Max-Hervé George, Founder and CEO of SWI Group.
