SWI Group Reports Strong First Half 2026 Results Amid AI Infrastructure Expansion

SWI Group has reported strong financial performance for the first half of 2026, concluding on June 30, 2026. The company's total assets reached €4.4 billion, with an adjusted net asset value of €2.3 billion, marking a 53% increase compared to the end of 2025. Net profit for the period stood at €631.6 million, largely attributed to the valuation of its stake in Genesis Digital Assets, now rebranded as SWI Digital.

The company is advancing its strategic shift to become a worldwide digital infrastructure and computing platform. This involves consolidating approximately 4 GW of electrical capacity, data centers, and dedicated AI computing power across Europe and the United States. A key element of this strategy is the increased investment in SWI Digital, formerly Genesis Digital Assets, in which SWI Group secured majority control in June 2026. SWI Digital possesses around 1.2 GW of guaranteed grid connections in the US and plans to optimize its existing infrastructure, repurposing former Bitcoin mining sites for large-scale AI and high-performance computing.

SWI Group's digital infrastructure portfolio is structured around two primary platforms: AiOnX in Europe, with an anticipated capacity of approximately 2.3 GW, and SWI Digital in the US, providing around 1.2 GW of guaranteed grid connections. Collectively, these platforms offer a substantial IT infrastructure presence in two of the world's most significant markets for AI and cloud computing.

Furthermore, SWI became a preferred partner within NVIDIA's partner network in August 2026, enabling the deployment of NVIDIA-accelerated infrastructure for AI workloads. The group is establishing a specialized technical team to develop and operate an in-house AI cloud platform for enterprises, research institutions, and AI developers. The long-term objective is to encompass the entire AI infrastructure value chain, from power supply and data centers to accelerated computing and AI cloud services.

SWI Group's strategy focuses on directing capital and management resources towards digital infrastructure and AI computing, which are projected to constitute over 90% of the company's total assets by 2027. The company is in advanced negotiations with hyperscalers and AI developers for long-term purchase agreements with a potential total value in the tens of billions of US dollars. SWI is also exploring a potential listing on US capital markets to support the next phase of its digital infrastructure and AI computing strategy.
