Swiftly introduces self-serve corporate compliance for Singapore SMEs

Founded by Kelvin Mun, Swiftly is targeting the corporate services sector in Singapore by replacing manual, document-heavy workflows with a self-serve platform. The system allows business owners to generate necessary legal and corporate documents independently, bypassing the traditional model that relies on extensive administrative support.

In a market with nearly 450,000 registered companies, the corporate services industry has historically relied on labor-intensive processes. Swiftly aims to disrupt this by offering a platform where clients operate the document-generation tools themselves, enabling 24/7 availability and lower operational overhead.

The startup is currently bootstrapped and profitable, relying on recurring annual subscriptions for corporate secretarial services ranging from S$300 to S$600. While the company has seen growth, scalability remains a primary challenge, as some compliance tasks require human judgment rather than standardized digital workflows.

Swiftly faces competition from established firms like Osome and Sleek. While competitors primarily leverage technology to aid their internal staff in serving clients, Swiftly differentiates its business model by providing customers with direct, automated access to its tools.
