Swiggy Reduces Q1 Net Loss By 34% To ₹791 Cr, Revenue Rises 37%
Food technology company Swiggy reported a 34% year-on-year reduction in its net loss for the first quarter, reaching ₹791 crore. The company also saw its revenue increase by 37% during the same period.

Food technology major Swiggy has reported a significant reduction in its net loss for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, with the loss falling 34% to ₹791 crore compared to ₹1,197 crore in the prior year's quarter. The company experienced a slight sequential decline of 1.1% from the previous quarter's loss of ₹800 crore.
Operating revenue saw substantial growth, increasing 37% year-on-year and 7% quarter-on-quarter, to reach ₹6,812 crore. Including other income of ₹211 crore, Swiggy's total income for the quarter amounted to ₹7,023 crore.
Despite revenue growth, total expenses for the quarter also rose by 25% year-on-year, totaling ₹7,813 crore.
The financial performance indicates Swiggy's ongoing efforts to improve profitability while expanding its market presence in the competitive food delivery sector.
