Swiss Engineering STV Holds General Assembly at SCHURTER AG in Lucerne
The Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects, Swiss Engineering STV, convened its general assembly at SCHURTER AG's new facilities in Lucerne.
The Central Switzerland section of the Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects (Swiss Engineering STV) held its general assembly on January 25, 2024, at the SCHURTER AG premises in Lucerne. The facilities were newly occupied in 2021.
Swiss Engineering STV is Switzerland's principal professional association for engineers and architects, representing over 11,000 members across various disciplines and sectors. The association has advocated for its members' interests and engaged in projects, networks, and political processes since 1905.
Approximately 50 members attended the assembly, which took place in SCHURTER AG's newly constructed staff restaurant, "Weitsicht." Bruno Zemp, Head of Advanced Engineering, welcomed the attendees and provided an overview of the company.
Following the presentation, guests toured the factory, gaining insight into the production of fuses for industrial and aerospace applications. Attendees reportedly expressed admiration for the modern location, production facilities, and SCHURTER's technical expertise. The event concluded with a group dinner.
