Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Forms Strategic Partnerships in India and Mexico

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has announced plans for exclusive partnerships with Bajaj General Insurance in India and GNP Seguros in Mexico. These collaborations are designed to support large Indian and Mexican companies, particularly those expanding internationally, and to assist Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' global clients with operations in these countries.

In India, the partnership with Bajaj General Insurance will focus on providing underwriting expertise in crucial growth sectors such as high-tech and manufacturing. It will also aim to offer international insurance programs for Indian companies operating abroad. In Mexico, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions intends to transfer its direct commercial insurance portfolio to GNP Seguros, subject to regulatory approvals, as part of a long-term strategic alliance. This arrangement will allow Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to continue serving clients in Mexico by leveraging GNP Seguros' established distribution network.

Ivan Gonzalez, CEO of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, stated that multinational corporations increasingly expect insurers to combine strong local market knowledge with global capabilities. He noted that working with local insurers allows Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to build on its underwriting expertise and global reach, creating a scalable platform for future growth.

The company views both India and Mexico as among the world's fastest-growing commercial insurance markets. These partnerships are expected to strengthen Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' international commercial insurance platform and deepen its access to these vital markets, where local expertise and global program capabilities are increasingly important for corporate clients.
