Syngenta and Groundwork BioAg Partner on Biologicals and Soil Carbon Solutions
Syngenta and Groundwork BioAg have formed a strategic partnership to bring advanced biological crop performance and soil health solutions, coupled with a carbon credit program, to farmers.

Syngenta and Groundwork BioAg have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Groundwork's mycorrhizal technology into Syngenta's global distribution network.
The new agreement focuses on commercializing biological products that enhance crop performance and promote soil health. Through this collaboration, the companies aim to provide farmers with additional revenue streams via carbon credit programs, initially targeting Latin America and Europe.
Syngenta will market these mycorrhiza-based products under its own brand. The products are designed to improve nutrient uptake, leading to higher and more resilient crop yields. Groundwork BioAg will handle manufacturing, supply, and the development of the carbon program.
Petra Laux, Chief Sustainability Officer at Syngenta Group, highlighted the partnership's potential for advancing soil health and accumulating carbon stocks. Alon Werber, CEO of Groundwork BioAg, stated that the partnership provides commercial validation for their technology and creates a significant revenue opportunity for farmers.
