Synthetic Turf Council announces 2026–2027 board of directors

The Synthetic Turf Council (STC) confirmed its board of directors for the 2026–2027 term during its annual meeting held in late October. The board is tasked with overseeing the organization’s advocacy and educational efforts as the industry faces shifting regulatory landscapes and technical standards.

Stratton Kirton, representing Liberty Tire Recycling, assumes the role of chairman. He is joined by Adam Coleman as vice chairman, Todd Ford as treasurer, and Peter Oksanen as secretary. The board also includes several directors-at-large and industry representatives, including personnel from Shaw Sports Turf and OxyTurf.

During the event, the STC also presented annual awards to highlight contributions to the sector. Bruce Lemons received a lifetime achievement award for his design work, while Troy Virgo was recognized for his volunteer leadership in regulatory affairs. The organization confirmed that its next annual gathering is scheduled for October 2027 in San Diego.
