Systemair AB, a ventilation solutions provider based in Sweden, announced today the completion of its acquisition of Temspec Incorporated, a Canadian designer and manufacturer of decentralized HVAC equipment. The transaction is expected to bolster Systemair's position in the North American market, particularly in segments serving multi-storey buildings and educational facilities.

Temspec, established in 1971, operates from Mississauga, Ontario, and employs approximately 90 individuals. The company's product focus is on energy efficiency and noise reduction. For the fiscal year 24/25, Temspec reported revenues of approximately EUR 18 million. Systemair noted that Temspec's corporate culture aligns with its own, emphasizing customer focus and an entrepreneurial spirit.

The acquisition is projected to make Systemair a leading supplier of ventilation solutions for schools in North America. By integrating Temspec into its existing North American operations, which currently employ around 555 people, Systemair anticipates significant growth opportunities stemming from complementary products and an established sales network.

The deal officially closed on July 23, 2026.
