T-Systems Launches AI Foundation Services for Enterprises
Deutsche Telekom's T-Systems division has launched AI Foundation Services, offering enterprises a secure, European-standard platform for deploying Large Language Models with a focus on data sovereignty.

Deutsche Telekom's T-Systems division has introduced AI Foundation Services, a new offering designed to provide businesses with a secure and compliant environment for utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs). The services aim to enable enterprise-wide scaling of AI solutions while adhering to strict data security and privacy requirements, making them suitable for regulated industries like healthcare and the public sector.
The AI Foundation Services provide a private development, testing, and production environment, featuring over 15 pre-configured LLMs, including open-source models such as Meta Llama 3.3 and Mistral Small 3. The platform also includes capabilities for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and model fine-tuning, allowing companies to integrate their own data for more tailored AI outputs.
Operated on the Open Telekom Cloud, the services ensure compliance with European Union regulations and data sovereignty principles. AI models and services are hosted in Telekom data centers located in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. T-Systems also offers deployment options on customer-owned infrastructure, promoting flexibility and reducing vendor lock-in.
Dr. Ferri Abolhassan, CEO of T-Systems, stated that the services make AI easy and secure to use, enabling companies to leverage AI innovations without compromising their independence and sovereignty. All services undergo thorough security scans before being commissioned.
