Tamkeen and EY MENA to Establish Talent Hub in Bahrain

The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and professional services firm EY MENA have announced an agreement to establish a talent hub in Bahrain. The project, unveiled at the Gateway Gulf 2026 event, is scheduled to run from 2027 to 2029, with the goal of hiring 125 local professionals.

The hub will provide training and employment opportunities in sectors including auditing, consulting, taxation, and strategy. A primary focus of the program is to equip Bahraini graduates and early-career professionals with expertise in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and sustainability to support clients across the MENA region.

Tamkeen Chief Executive Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez stated that the initiative is designed to foster sustainable employment in high-growth industries. EY MENA partner Nader Rahimi noted that the hub will provide participants with the practical experience required to navigate rapid shifts in the global business environment.

The initiative is supported by the Bahrain Economic Development Board and aligns with national priorities to build a knowledge-based, innovative economy.
