Silicon Valley AI company TANKA, Inc. has officially launched TANKA.ai in Japan. The service uses long-term memory to help teams work with the context behind their email, chat, and files.
Redwood City, California-based AI company TANKA, Inc. has announced the official launch of its TANKA.ai service in Japan. This expansion brings the company's AI assistant, designed to retain long-term memory of team communications, to the Japanese market.
The TANKA.ai service utilizes artificial intelligence to store and recall context from emails, chat messages, files, and meeting records. It aims to help teams by surfacing past commitments, changes, and outstanding issues, thereby assisting in tasks such as drafting documents or replies based on historical information.
The Japanese expansion includes integrations with local workplace tools and the establishment of a Tokyo-based team for localization and customer support. TANKA has also introduced a "Founding 100" program, offering an introductory offer for the first 100 teams to adopt the service in Japan.
William Wang, CEO of TANKA Japan, stated that the company's goal is to reduce the time teams spend piecing together information. TANKA links information by when, where, and by whom it was shared, aiding in reviewing decisions and organizing task handovers.
TANKA, Inc., founded in the United States in 2024, offers its AI assistant across various platforms, including web and mobile devices.
