Tate McRae Launches Fragrance Brand; Trademark Covers Broader Scope
Canadian singer Tate McRae has entered the fragrance business with the launch of her namesake brand, Tate 01. A broader trademark filing suggests intentions for further product expansion.

Canadian singer and dancer Tate McRae has officially launched her own fragrance line, Tate 01, developed in partnership with Scent Beauty and master perfumers Adriana Medina and Antoine Maisondieu. The scent aims to be an effortless, subtly edgy addition to personal style.
The Tate 01 fragrance was initially rolled out as a direct-to-consumer e-commerce product and will also be available exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores later this month. McRae stated her goal was to craft a scent that feels like a "second-skin: effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you," enhancing the wearer rather than overpowering them.
Scent Beauty, the company behind the launch, has previously collaborated with other high-profile artists, including Sabrina Carpenter and Dolly Parton, on custom fragrances. Scent Beauty CEO Stephen Mormoris indicated that the partnership with McRae marks the first step in building a long-term fragrance brand intended to make a lasting cultural impact, reflecting the artist's personal vision.
