TaxDome Integrates Client Accounts with AI Assistants
TaxDome has launched an MCP tool allowing clients to manage accounting documents and invoices through third-party AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude.
TaxDome, a practice management platform for accounting firms, has released a new interface allowing clients to interact with their accounting data via AI assistants. By connecting their TaxDome accounts to platforms such as Claude or ChatGPT, users can retrieve information regarding outstanding documents, invoice statuses, and return readiness using natural language queries.
Co-founder Ilya Radzinsky stated that the objective is to meet clients within their existing digital workflows. The tool is scoped to ensure that users can only access their own specific account data, providing a bridge to the TaxDome platform when signatures or payments are required. The integration is included in the standard platform offering at no additional cost to firms or their clients.
Industry participants noted that such automation could streamline document collection, which often serves as a bottleneck during tax season. The feature is available today through the Claude directory and ChatGPT plugin store, representing a shift toward decentralized client communication in the accounting sector.
